Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and assess educational programs tailored to:
a. Initial and ongoing competency evaluations
b. Professional development initiatives
c. Continuing education opportunities
2. Partner with the Senior Informatics Nurse Specialist to engage End-User Nurses in the continuous enhancement of the electronic medical record system.
3. Participate in ongoing quality improvement projects that influence the assigned service line departments.
4. Actively contribute as a member of the Nursing Leadership Council and other nursing decision-making bodies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in the Emergency Department required.
- Preferred 3 years of clinical teaching experience.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities through prior roles such as preceptor or governance council member.
Licensure and Certifications:
- Must be a Licensed Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
- AHA certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS) required; Instructor certification preferred (to be obtained within 12 months of hire).
- ANCC Board Certification in specialty area preferred.
Compensation:
The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from $39.06 to $56.61 per hour, determined based on individual experience, education, and certifications.
