About the Role

The Air Force Test Center is seeking a Term Position Logistic Management Specialist to work at the 412th Logistics Readiness Squadron, located at Edwards Air Force Base. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for planning, evaluating, and tracking logistics activities, including support agreement management, contingency and mobilization management, and war reserve materiel management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain current appointment letters for wing Functional Area Agreement Coordinators (FAACs) and standardized supplier statements.
  • Work closely with Deployment Control Center (DCC) personnel to direct deployment activities during real-world emergencies and exercises.
  • Plan, evaluate, track, and provide budgetary, maintenance accountability, and storage reporting of WRM assets.
  • Compile and track program accounting and financing responsibilities for base mobility bags and other deployment equipment/supply expenditures.
Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Obtain and maintain Security clearance (if applicable)
  • Ability to plan and conduct complex, multifaceted functional activities simultaneously.
  • Ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Knowledge of retail logistics doctrine and Air Force wartime planning process
