As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of orders, managing inventory, and coordinating supply chain activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the logistics process for our wholesale operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
- Oversee the receiving, sorting, and storage of incoming merchandise in our warehouse.
- Perform physical labor tasks, such as lifting and moving heavy boxes, palletizing products, and operating warehouse equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
- Collaborate with transportation providers to schedule and track deliveries to wholesale customers.
- Monitor and optimize logistics costs, including freight rates and warehouse expenses.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse staff.
- Train and supervise warehouse personnel to ensure efficient and accurate operations.
- 5-7+ years of proven experience in wholesale logistics management, preferably in the apparel industry.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including order processing, inventory management, and shipping.
- Ability to perform physical labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects and operating warehouse equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems such as NetSuite and ERP software.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Experience with UPS, FedEx, and DHL shipping software required.
- Inventory experience required.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Strong team-player, hard working and self-motivated.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse setting.
