Key Responsibilities
  • Receives and processes loan applications from dealers of the Indirect Program
  • Makes determinations to approve or deny indirect loans within authorized limits
  • Records loan applications and documentation in data processing systems
  • Updates and maintains loan account information
  • Builts and maintains a good rapport with existing dealers of the indirect program
Performance Measurements
  • To ensure all documentation is completed in compliance with credit union policy and regulatory guidelines
  • To fund, organize and complete member loan files in a consistent and timely manner with accuracy
  • To maintain a reputation as a quality partner within the dealer network
  • To maintain a working knowledge of the credit union's loan standards and guidelines
Requirements
  • Two years of similar or related experience in lending environment processing, funding, and underwriting loans
  • A high school education or GED
  • Knowledge of legislation, regulation, policies and procedures pertaining to lending practices
  • Basic understanding of the collection process
  • Complete knowledge of the indirect lending program
  • Knowledge of lending software and data processing systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft products including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Intermediate math skills, capable of calculations involving decimals, percentages and fractions
  • Skilled in typing, 10-key and filing
Work Environment

Work frequently involves exposure to dust and time spent outside. May require working irregular hours with limited notice. Travel may be required both locally and out-of-state/overnight.

Must be able to work and travel to different credit union locations as determined by management.
