BayMark Health Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Substance Use Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our treatment team, you will play a vital role in helping patients overcome opioid use disorder and achieve long-term recovery.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group counseling services to patients, including crisis management and coping strategies.
- Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Facilitate aftercare and discharge planning to ensure patients receive ongoing support.
- Ensure efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to all patients.
- Certified Counselor in the State of California.
- Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals is a plus.
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
- Competitive salary range: $26.25 to $28.25 an hour.
