Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, which comprises approximately 60 professionals, including engineers, designers, and document management specialists. This role is essential in facilitating the organization and preservation of historical project documentation.

Daily Responsibilities:
In this position, you will be tasked with reviewing documents for redundancy in electronic records. If a document is not a duplicate, you will proceed to scan and upload it. Weekly targets for scanning and uploading will be established and assessed at the end of each week.

Team Interaction:
Most of your interactions will be with the Compliance Records Analyst, with frequent engagement with the manager initially, which will gradually decrease as you become more proficient in your responsibilities.

Initial Focus:
Your primary objectives in the first few weeks will include:
1. Familiarizing yourself with the scanning and electronic records system.
2. Shadowing the current Compliance Records Analyst.
3. Mastering techniques to enhance the efficiency of the scanning and uploading process.

Challenges:
This role involves repetitive tasks, which may present a challenge for some.

Essential Skills Required:
1. Strong attention to detail
2. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
3. Proficient written communication skills

Preferred Skills:
1. Experience with electronic records management
2. Ability to work independently
3. Intermediate computer proficiency

Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. While two years of experience is preferred, candidates with no prior experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure centralized control, indexing, and storage of engineering and generating plant documents for quick and accurate retrieval from both central and archival storage.
2. Support the establishment and maintenance of a records information program that complies with corporate standards.
3. Develop and implement file patterns and codes, ensuring timely uploads for future access.
4. Create and maintain retention schedules, identifying critical records and collaborating with Records Management for their protection.
5. Assess where to file information based on corporate retention guidelines and subject matter expertise.
6. Physical capability to lift and move items weighing up to 35 pounds.
