At Sapphire at Gateway Care Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Records Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Records Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and confidentiality of resident healthcare information and records.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the facility meets HIPAA requirements by maintaining accurate and up-to-date resident records.
  • Organize and maintain resident charts, including copying 24-hour reports and inputting telephone orders.
  • Review and update treatment and medication books, as well as physician orders.
  • Run MDS due and completed reports, and organize discharge charts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
