We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Records Specialist to join our team at Pyramid Consulting, Inc. in Portland, OR.
Job Summary:
The Medical Records Specialist will be responsible for responding to requests for medical records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to requests for medical records in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of full-time experience in a medical records role
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and guidelines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Epic EHR experience
- ROI experience
- Good customer service skills
