The Excalibur Group is seeking a highly skilled Paralegal Specialist to support a Federal contract in Albany, NY. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical paralegal services, including gathering factual material, reading and annotating transcripts, and summarizing documents.
  • Support Affirmative Civil Enforcement (ACE) investigations and trials, including reviewing and analyzing financial and management operations of various organizations.
  • Perform simple legal research, index, track, and control exhibits, and assist attorneys in courtroom.
  • Screen documents for relevance and privilege, and research discrimination complaints.
  • Interview community stakeholders, victims, and residents, and assist trial attorneys with vetting expert consultants.
Requirements:
  • Paralegal certificate, degree in paralegal studies, or JD required.
  • At least two years of litigation paralegal experience, with trial experience and automated litigation support experience highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, thorough knowledge of legal research tools, and hands-on familiarity with computer applications required.
Pay Rate:
  • $25.39/hour
