Job Summary:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant - Home Care with Kintegra Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, transfers, lifting, ambulation, and incontinent care, as per their individual care plans.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and laundry, as needed.
  • Assist patients with self-administration of medications, as ordered by their healthcare provider.
  • Obtain vital signs and weights, as per patient care plans and physician orders.
  • Document services provided and observations on appropriate forms.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for home care services, weekdays and weekends.

Requirements:

  • Current listing as a CNA (I or II) with the NC Nurse Aide Registry.
  • Valid driving license and personal vehicle insurance.
  • Dependable means of transportation.
  • Good driving record and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to lift and turn patients, as needed.
  • Knowledge of and care for adults with chronic health conditions.

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent changes in patient needs and priorities. The Certified Nursing Assistant - Home Care must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.
