About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at American Honda Motor Co. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment where you will be responsible for leading, creating, and implementing technical activities and solutions to drive efficiency and excellence in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure common understanding and direction.
  • Analyze daily reports to identify safety, quality, and delivery gaps, and develop countermeasures to address these issues.
  • Utilize data analysis and the PDCA cycle to lead and support the development of solutions to complex problems.
  • Monitor and manage equipment and processes to ensure optimal manufacturing performance and minimize operating expenses.
  • Develop the capabilities of self, colleagues, and team members through training, mentoring, and sharing of experiences.
  • Establish priorities and make decisions based on data analytics to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage project implementation, schedule, budget, and resource allocation to ensure successful completion and target achievement.
  • Test, evaluate, and implement new and innovative technologies to improve overall equipment and process efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or associate degree in engineering or engineering technology, or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Manufacturing co-op or internship experience is preferred.
  • Computer literacy to support industry-standard software applications.
  • Positive attitude, open-mindedness, and a team player mindset.
  • Strong self-motivation and desire to work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to manage projects and lead teams.
  • Strong technical analysis and troubleshooting skills.
