Role Summary:

The Process Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing safe and efficient processes for 4WD/AT systems, utilizing the M.O.S.T methodology. This role includes managing part delivery locations and ensuring optimal process layouts and packaging design approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize M.O.S.T to create balanced processes across manufacturing sectors, aiming for high efficiency and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Conduct audits and maintain data integrity to ensure accurate operational standards.
  • Estimate production process times and develop operational standards.
  • Identify ergonomic improvements to enhance worker safety.
  • Support New Model Events by addressing concerns and implementing solutions prior to mass production.
  • Develop project plans and schedules as necessary.
  • Provide project support and summarize process impacts as required.
  • Ensure proper setup of lineside racks for process delivery during line changes.
  • Act as the packaging representative for the Assembly Department, coordinating with relevant teams on packaging modifications.
  • Enhance the skills of oneself and colleagues through training and mentorship.
  • Gather feedback from the production floor and address any issues that arise.

Candidate Profile:

Required Experience:

  • 0-4 years of relevant manufacturing experience based on educational background.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is necessary.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Conflict resolution skills and the ability to escalate issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in M.O.S.T methodologies.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Responsive to production floor needs and requirements.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency.
  • Knowledge of SEQCDM guidelines relevant to the role.
  • Time management and multitasking capabilities.
  • Understanding of Business Plan and PDDA principles.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD/Catia for drawing updates as necessary.

  • Travel: Approximately 5%
