Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn. As a Registered Nurse in our Pediatrics department, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our young patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care to children and adolescents, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in pediatric nursing.

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse license in New York State.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in pediatric nursing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pediatric experience.
  • Maternal/Child experience.
  • PALS certification.

Salary Range:

The salary range for this role is $55.48 - $70.86 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
