Position Summary
At AAA, our Team Members are dedicated to providing outstanding service and assisting our Members in overcoming life's challenges. We recognize that your experiences outside of work contribute to your professional identity.

The Member Services Specialist is primarily tasked with delivering exceptional service and value to our Members through authentic care, personalized service, and fulfilling the needs and expectations of those who engage with our branches.

Member Services Specialists must possess a strong customer service orientation, active listening skills to identify unmet Member needs, and the ability to become knowledgeable about various product lines, services, and custom software applications.

This is a full-time onsite role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct essential customer interactions, including member services and product sales.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency with AAA products and services, adhering to branch operations in line with standard operating procedures and compliance.
  • Promote AAA products and services to Members to achieve individual and branch objectives, reinforcing the value of AAA Membership.
  • Anticipate Member needs and recommend relevant solutions from AAA to address unmet needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Customer Service: Exhibit a professional and friendly demeanor, providing effective problem resolution and adapting communication styles for high effectiveness.
  • Sales Acumen: Active listener, critical thinker, strong communicator with insightful emotional intelligence.
  • Technical Proficiency: Must be adept with multiple computer systems and applications, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of all AAA products, services, and operations.
  • Operational Excellence: Ability to implement processes and standard operating procedures effectively, ensuring efficiency and goal alignment.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales or customer service roles, preferably in hospitality, insurance, retail, service industry, call centers, or fast-paced office environments.

Work Environment
This position primarily involves office work, requiring standing, sitting, bending, and lifting (up to 15 pounds). A significant portion of the time will be spent using a video display terminal. Flexibility with work shifts is necessary, including the ability to work weekends.
