Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Loan Counselor to join our team. As a Loan Counselor, you will be responsible for assisting homeowners with routine or complex issues and requests in a high-volume call center environment. You will process payments, perform financial interviews, and offer solutions to help customers avoid serious delinquency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist homeowners with routine or complex issues and requests in a high-volume call center environment
  • Process payments and perform financial interviews to offer solutions to help customers avoid serious delinquency
  • Use an advanced telephony system to engage with customers
  • Gather critical data and enter it on a servicing platform
  • Promote the customer experience and provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of customer contact experience, collections, loss mitigation, or other mortgage-related experience preferred
  • Strong computing and typing skills
  • Proficient in basic mathematics
  • Ability to learn company policies, procedures, and state/federal laws
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiating skills
