How you make a difference
As a Mental Health Therapist at NeuroBehavioral Hospital (NBH), you will offer comprehensive psychotherapy services to residents, encompassing individual, family, and group therapy sessions. Your role will involve skillful coordination of treatment team evaluations, ensuring adherence to treatment plans, and timely documentation, all within the parameters defined by hospital policies. Join our team to make a meaningful impact on residents' well-being through expert therapeutic care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services adhering to hospital policies, APA standards, and ethical guidelines.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, including multifamily and educational groups.
- Collaborate with treatment teams, communicate findings, and engage in crisis management.
- Assist in policy development, maintain accurate records, and contribute to quality improvement.
- Contribute to staff training, demonstrate flexibility in hours, and serve as a professional role model while ensuring overall effective clinical care.
Education
- LCSW or LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor)
- Minimum of one (1) year recent experience in a residential or hospital setting with appropriate population preferred.
- Professional experience in the mental field that indicates knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of psychological disorders.
- Licensed in the State of employment by the appropriate state licensing agency
