Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Engineer to oversee all aspects of a project from bid to close out. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The Construction Project Engineer will be responsible for assisting in bidding out projects to subcontractors, analyzing bids, and preparing estimates for self-performed work. Additionally, they will assist the Project Manager with issuing subcontractors, managing submittals, RFI's, change orders, meeting minutes, and filing documents.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of construction management principles, with experience in Procore, Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel. They will also have excellent scheduling knowledge and skills, with the ability to provide technical support to the project team.

Requirements

  • Construction field experience
  • Construction management degree
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Punctual and responsive to schedules with deadlines
  • Good typing skills, proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project or construction scheduling software
  • Valid California driver's license with own reliable transportation
