Job Summary

Noblis is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in support of the FAA's NextGen Data Comm program. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will play a critical role in the successful deployment of this complex system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply systems engineering principles to analyze and resolve technical issues related to the FAA Data Communications Program.
  • Interface with FAA customers, vendors, and industry stakeholders to develop comprehensive solutions for technical and operational issues.
  • Integrate data into solutions that support successful pilot and controller operational acceptance of the system.
  • Project manage and develop technical requirements for emerging customer communications projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and at least 25 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated systems engineering and leadership skills on large-scale aviation projects.
  • In-depth understanding of air/ground VHF communications, ACARS, and FANS 1/A.
  • Familiarity with VHF communication service providers (ARINC and/or SITA).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current working knowledge of the FAA Data Communications Program.
  • Working knowledge of the air transport industry environment specifically related to Data Communications implementation and operation.
