Customer Service Representative

CSL Plasma is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plasma collection process, providing exceptional customer service to donors, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process and monitor the donor and the process, responding to specific alarms or signals that may occur.
- Disconnect the donor when the process is complete and maintain alertness and awareness to any reaction the donor may have during or after the process.
- Use a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) to record incidents that occur during the pheresis process, such as machine alerts and alarms, volume variances, and donor adverse events.
- Link equipment and soft goods used in the pheresis process to the appropriate donor and alert the Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
- Maintain accurate records of donor data in the electronic donor information management system and understand the policies and procedures associated with hyper immune programs at the center.
- Ensure a clean and efficient work environment, following all Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information and perform job-related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of three (3) months' work experience, preferably in a medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions.
- Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines.
- Must be able to see and speak with customers and observe equipment operation.
This is a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The individual must be able to occasionally perform tasks while standing and walking up to 100% of the time, reach, bend, kneel, and have a high level of manual dexterity. The individual must also be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds and be frequently exposed to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and to blood-borne pathogens.
Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment while performing specific tasks or in certain areas and required to work overtime and extended hours to support center operational needs.
