Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive Lead Audio Systems Engineer to join our Advanced Technologies team. This role involves collaborating with a diverse group of professionals on a variety of projects that may include commercial, military, or medical applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional innovation and problem-solving skills, alongside a strong ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. Experience in both hardware and software development for embedded systems is highly advantageous.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as both an individual contributor and a project team leader.
  • Ensure project success while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Conduct experiments independently and creatively.
  • Manage project timelines and identify potential risks.
  • Document and report on project progress regularly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively as a team member.
  • Experience leading a small team of engineers on technical projects.
  • Broad interest and experience across various technical fields to address complex challenges.
  • Proficiency in both analog and digital signal processing.
  • Knowledge in Control System design and modeling.
  • Expertise in Audio Engineering and Acoustics.
  • Capability to model and analyze electronic circuits and systems.
  • Experience with Schematic and PCB design (familiarity with Altium is a plus).
  • Background in embedded microcontroller applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages relevant to embedded systems.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, or a closely related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, prototype development, and testing.
