Systems Integration Engineer

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer for a contract opportunity. This role requires a strong commitment to onsite collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of both in-house and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components.
- Establishes technical specifications and standards, addressing hardware/software interface challenges, defining input/output parameters, and ensuring the seamless integration of systems.
- Reviews and evaluates requirements for testability, leading the preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans and schedules.
- Coordinates testing activities across subsystems and systems with various programs and organizations.
- Analyzes test results and prepares detailed evaluation reports to verify and validate system performance.
- Conducts integration testing to confirm the effectiveness of software fixes and component updates.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills are essential, as this role involves supporting existing test equipment and developing new solutions.
- Familiarity with measurement and test equipment is necessary, including knowledge of various manufacturers.
- Significant experience in programming test equipment and automating testing solutions using LabVIEW is required.
- Proficiency with TestStand is also essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Python programming is desirable.
Education:
Accredited Bachelor's Degree is required.
Work Schedule:
Full-Time, with a 4/10 work schedule on the first shift.
