Medical Records Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to join our team at Acadia Healthcare. As a Medical Records Clerk, you will be responsible for sorting, filing, and collating medical records and information, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities- Sort, file, and collate medical records and information, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
- Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and timely.
- Research lost or missing records/information in accordance with established procedures.
- Respond to requests for medical records from outside agencies and third-party sponsors.
- Facilitate incoming calls to the facility and greet visitors and contractors.
- High School/GED or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in clerical or medical records.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
