Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team at the Bureau of Land Management. This role will be responsible for providing administrative support to our organization, including managing office operations, supervising staff, and coordinating projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate administrative functions, including time and attendance, facilities management, budgeting, and fleet management.
  • Supervise and direct administrative staff, including planning, organizing, and evaluating their work.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources on administrative personnel matters, including recruitment, selection, and training.
  • Plan and coordinate workforce planning, position management, and organizational workload studies.
  • Conduct analytical studies and analyses to increase efficiency and effectiveness of program operations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-09 in the Federal Service.
  • Experience in managing, planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating administrative functions.
  • Ability to supervise and direct administrative staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
