Structures Technician, F-16 Aircraft Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Structures Technician to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As an F-16 Aircraft Structures and Modifications Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the modification, upgrade, and overhaul of F-16 aircraft at Osan AB Republic of Korea. This role requires domestic and international travel, and you must be able to obtain and maintain a passport for international travel.
Key Responsibilities- Perform heavy depot-level maintenance, repair, and modification of the aircraft structure and major subassemblies.
- Plan, lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair various sheet metal and structural assemblies and subassemblies utilizing precision measuring equipment.
- Read and speak English, comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Work in a multicultural and dynamic setting, exposed to repetitive movements and work overhead.
- Use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
- Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, twist, and work on or in the aircraft.
- Lift and/or push or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed to perform job tasks.
- Minimum 6 years' experience with F-16 aircraft maintenance and/or modification activities.
- Held a USAF skill level 5 (or equivalent) in their career field.
- Experienced in F-16 Structural/Crew Chief specialties.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Experience with USAF products and processes, including F-16 hardware and maintenance, technical orders, and technical drawings, at the organizational and intermediate levels.
