F-16 Depot Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled F-16 Depot Mechanic to join our team at Butler America Aerospace, LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing and assisting with various tasks related to the maintenance and repair of F-16 aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance of electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems and components on the aircraft.
  • Conduct preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight inspections to ensure the aircraft is airworthy.
  • Assist with launch and recovery operations, as well as ground handling and maintenance tasks.
  • Perform periodic inspections of the aircraft's electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces, and general airframe condition.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure the aircraft is properly serviced and maintained.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in F-16 or other legacy fighter heavy maintenance.
  • Extensive knowledge of F-16 systems and components.
  • Ability to work first or second shift.
  • No tools required.
