Job Summary

Berlitz is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spanish Instructor to join our team. As a Spanish Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective language lessons to students in a public school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Delivery: Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs and interests of students, focusing on the Berlitz teaching principles.
  • Collaboration and Feedback: Meet regularly with Academic Specialists to evaluate lessons and receive coaching to enhance teaching skills and ensure SMART goals are met.
  • Student Records and Progress: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student pedagogical and attendance data.
  • Technology Integration: Effectively incorporate learning technology into teaching programs and maintain shared teaching resource materials.
  • Additional Duties: Perform tasks as assigned by the Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist to ensure the smooth execution of the program.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Teaching Experience: Proven teaching experience is required.
  • Language Proficiency: Ability to speak English and Spanish fluently.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Administrative Skills: Basic administrative skills and computer knowledge to deliver lessons and maintain student records.
Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment, requiring the ability to stand, walk, and use standard office equipment.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $29.00.
