The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and promoting a safe and supportive environment.
As a RN on our 50-bed Mental Health Recovery Adult unit, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities- Implement patient care plans in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Collaborate with Psychiatrists, Therapists, Dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
- Registered nurse licensed by State Board of Nursing in the state of employment
- American Health Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification
- Formal training in management of aggressive patients
- Previous psychiatric experience with children, adolescents, and adults preferred
