The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and promoting a safe and supportive environment.
As a RN on our 50-bed Mental Health Recovery Adult unit, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient progress
- Collaborating with psychiatrists, therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Conducting patient assessments, identifying areas of concern, and developing strategies to address them
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
We are seeking a RN with a strong commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or equivalent
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience working in a psychiatric or mental health setting (preferred)
