As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will spearhead and cultivate business collaborations across Apple's Engineering and Product divisions with external stakeholders to pioneer next-generation technologies and services.

Your responsibilities will encompass cross-functional coordination, innovative problem-solving, effective deal structuring, and leading engagement, strategy, and negotiations with Apple's partners.

In this capacity, you will utilize and enhance your understanding of intricate commercial agreements, intellectual property, and operational frameworks. Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, negotiate, and implement strategic partnerships for technology development, licensing, and other collaborative ventures with external entities.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with executive management teams of third-party organizations as a representative of Apple.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across Apple divisions, including Engineering, Legal, Finance, and others, during deal negotiations and post-deal execution.
  • Conduct data-driven research and industry analysis of emerging technologies to identify opportunities and guide commercial strategy development with internal teams.
  • Engage deeply with both emerging and established technologies, encompassing hardware, software, services, AI/ML, generative AI, gaming, and more.
  • Prepare and present clear and concise proposals to senior executives.

Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or JD preferred, with a background in Engineering/Sciences
Experience and enthusiasm for emerging innovations in software and hardware technology (generative AI, spatial computing, gaming, etc.)
7+ years of relevant work experience in partnerships, business development, strategy, or emerging technologies
Ability to navigate ambiguity through structured approaches and principles
Experience in negotiating and managing partnerships with diverse global partners (start-ups, public companies, etc.)
Familiarity with commercial contracts, licensing, intellectual property, financial modeling, and technical diligence.

Skills:
Creative problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts succinctly to cross-functional teams, external parties, and Apple executives
Collaborative team player, adept at working cross-functionally with various partners (Engineering, Legal, Marketing, Finance, etc.)
Experience in research and commercial strategy development with internal teams
Strong analytical abilities
Technical knowledge to comprehend market innovations
Willingness to travel internationally (10-20% of the time).

Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one component of our comprehensive compensation package, determined within a range. This offers opportunities for growth as you advance in your role.

The base pay range for this position is between $151,200 and $227,600, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees have the chance to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
