About the Opportunity

We are seeking talented Ophthalmologists to join our dynamic team at the Department of Veteran Affairs in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $275,000, with opportunities for additional compensation based on performance. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Preliminary diagnosis, direct treatment plans, and medication prescription as needed.
  2. Comprehensive ophthalmology care, including prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of eye disorders.
  3. Outpatient clinic conductance, patient medication review, and treatment plan modification.
  4. Ophthalmologic procedure performance, including consultation and corrective surgeries.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Medical degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Virginia medical licensure
  • Ophthalmology board certification
  • Retina and glaucoma disorder diagnosis and management training
Work Environment

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, in a brand-new Fredericksburg HCC facility.
