The Kennewick School District is seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to provide assessment, therapy, and consultation services to students with communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' communication needs and develop individualized education plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students with communication disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective communication strategies and accommodations.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of student progress, including assessment results, therapy plans, and progress monitoring data.
- Washington State ESA certificate with Speech and Language Pathologist endorsement or ability to obtain.
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology or related field.
- Satisfactory evaluations and a strong commitment to providing high-quality services to students with communication disorders.
- Experience working with students with autism and students with significant disabilities.
- Knowledge of in-classroom services delivery models and ability to adapt to changing student needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.
