Swedish Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Coordinator - Respiratory Therapy to join our team. As a Clinical Coordinator, you will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and facilitating patient care assignments in your department/unit for all operating hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient care assignments to ensure efficient and effective delivery of respiratory therapy services
- Collaborate with respiratory therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and analyze department/unit performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to optimize respiratory therapy services
- Participate in interviewing, monitoring, coaching, evaluating, and disciplining processes
Requirements:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification required
- Neonatal Pediatric Specialist or Adult Critical Care Specialist preferred
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited Respiratory Therapist program
- 3 years of Respiratory Therapist experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of respiratory principles and procedures
