Highly Specialized General Surgical Care Physician

Surgical Affiliates Management Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Surgeon to join our team at Redlands Community Hospital. This position offers a rewarding opportunity for a surgeon with a commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care in a non-trauma setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality general surgical care with a focus on patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Perform endoscopic procedures with preference given to candidates with experience.
- Collaborate closely with hospitalists who manage admissions for patients aged 15 and older, allowing the surgical team to focus on procedural care.
- Manage acute care surgical consults with approximately 414 consults/admissions per year.
- Participate in 146 scheduled shifts annually, ensuring a balanced work-life structure.
- Conduct consultations and follow-up visits at a conveniently located clinic across the street from the hospital.
- Hospital Size: 211 beds with no trauma designation.
- Emergency Department Visits: 34,331 visits per year.
- Location: Situated in Redlands, CA, offering a charming community with a high quality of life, excellent schools, and easy access to outdoor recreation.
- Must possess or be eligible for California medical licensure.
- Board Certified in General Surgery.
- Endoscopy experience is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical focus, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to building long-lasting relationships with patients and hospital teams.
