Job Summary

At the Detroit Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, coordinating workflow, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols and standards.
  • Coordinate the flow of work, delegate tasks, and oversee staff to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • Two or more years of progressively responsible MRI Technologist experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
