Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness
  • Interview patients to obtain medical history and assess risk factors
  • Explain procedures to patients, including risks and benefits
  • Set up equipment and acquire images as per script
  • Review images, document exceptions, and communicate data to radiologists
  • Recognize and respond to medical emergencies
  • Provide post-care instructions to patients
  • Participate in process improvement activities
  • Provide imaging education to residents and new employees
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support – Healthcare Provider (BLS) training
  • One or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or advanced certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)
Working Conditions

This is a full-time evening shift position. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and clinical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They will be able to work effectively in a complex environment and handle multiple priorities.
