Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to join our team at International SOS Government Medical Services. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical services in a remote and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and emergency care to personnel at Eareckson Air Station.
  • Manage chronic conditions and support medical evacuations.
  • Maintain medical records in accordance with federal and state regulations.
  • Lead quality development and clinical governance agendas.
  • Inspect and maintain the medical clinic and equipment.
  • Provide direct supervision of medical staff and care oversight.
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals as needed.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Nurse Practice from an accredited institution.
  • Current and unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in at least one state within the United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
  • Certification by a recognized national certifying body (e.g., ANCC, AANP) appropriate to the NP's specialty.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Certification by the American College of Surgeons - Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) is preferred.
  • DEA license.
Physical Demands
  • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a remote and potentially challenging environment with limited resources.
  • Capacity to respond quickly to emergencies and provide care under stressful conditions.
  • May require bending, stooping, and lifting up to 35 lbs.

Compensation: Min 150,000 / Max 160,000

The pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.

Benefits - This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Additional benefits include a 401k plan paid time off and an annual bonus. International SOS complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.
