Job Summary

USA Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing diagnostic imaging procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent patient care to diverse patient populations, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Select and operate radiographic and support equipment, manually selecting proper technical factors.
  • Perform routine diagnostic x-ray procedures and assist physicians in performance of examinations.
  • Rotate within the department or areas of the department, adhering to prescribed standards for Radiation Safety.
  • Utilize a personal computer or terminal to access the Hospital Information System and digitize, compress, and send images through tele-radiography.
  • Abide by and enforce all compliance requirements and policies, demonstrating CPR and assisting with training Radiology Students.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families, and healthcare team in person and via the telephone.
  • Access and accurately maintain electronic and paper medical records.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, successful completion of an approved course in Radiologic Technology, and registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Diagnostic Radiology within twelve months of employment.
