USA Health is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to digital image management, including maintaining competency in all imaging equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities- Perform digital image management tasks, including maintaining competency in all imaging equipment and supplies.
- Assist with the performance of accreditation requirements for the American College of Radiology (ACR).
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Perform visual preventive safety inspections of all equipment used and communicate problems to supervisor/assistant director/director.
- Maintain necessary inventory of supplies, rotating stock in an orderly fashion, and eliminating outdated items.
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in radiologic technology by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of an approved course in Radiologic Technology.
- One year of experience conducting routine diagnostic procedures.
- Completion of an approved program in advanced modality or one year of experience in advanced modality.
- Registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Diagnostic Radiology.
