Job Title: Part Time Gambling Disorders Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Part Time Gambling Disorders Clinician to join our team at Wheeler Clinic. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical and case management services to adults 18+ in an integrated health care setting that provides primary care, behavioral health, and dental services for those struggling with Gambling Disorders.

Job Summary:

The Part Time Gambling Disorders Clinician will work collaboratively with our team to provide comprehensive care to clients, including behavioral health consultation to primary care providers, assistance with medical treatment compliance, and referrals to other Wheeler services and community resources as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical and case management services to adults 18+ with Gambling Disorders
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct program-specific screening and evaluation, and formulate diagnoses in accordance with the Diagnostic Statistical Manual (DSM)
  • Develop and document clear clinical formulations and treatment plans that are individualized and measurable
  • Triages clinical emergencies and implements program-specific safety and consultation protocols
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and internal and external providers
  • Attend required meetings and multidisciplinary treatment team planning meetings
  • Meet direct service productivity goals as defined by the program
  • Document all client-related information in compliance with agency policy
  • Attend and participate in scheduled supervision and seek additional supervision or consultation as needed
  • Provide clinical leadership by implementing, promoting, and sustaining evidenced-based and best practice models of prevention, intervention, and treatment
  • Provide guidance and crisis support to staff
  • Work with the program manager or designee to develop, monitor, and analyze clinical and program performance and outcomes
  • Interface and collaborate with other community providers to promote Wheeler Clinic's reputation as a quality service provider
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or related license-eligible field
  • Prior trainings and/or experience in Gambling Disorders preferred
  • Licensed in the State of Connecticut (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMSW, LMFTA, LPCA)
