We are currently seeking a dedicated Host to manage guest interactions. In this role, you will warmly welcome members as they arrive and guide them to their designated seating or waiting areas. You will also handle reservations and engage with guests over the phone. Success in this position requires comfort with standing for extended periods and the ability to manage a bustling environment.

Host Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming guests upon arrival and managing the waiting list as needed.
  • Providing menus and addressing initial inquiries from guests.
  • Seating guests at tables or in designated waiting areas.
  • Assigning tables based on guest preferences while ensuring a balanced flow for servers.
  • Accommodating special requests from members regarding reservations (e.g., anniversaries, birthdays).
  • Addressing complaints and escalating issues to management.
  • Handling phone inquiries, taking reservations, and providing information.
  • Possessing a thorough understanding of the menu.
  • Assisting in other restaurant roles as required.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service.

Host Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.
  • Positive demeanor and capacity to collaborate effectively with all restaurant staff.
  • Demonstrates high-quality work independently.
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods.
  • Capable of safely lifting and maneuvering trays of food as necessary.
  • Willingness to follow directions and seek clarification when needed.
  • Proficient in operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Experience in a busy restaurant environment is advantageous.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
