Customer Service Lead

At SpartanNash, we prioritize delivering exceptional customer experiences through innovative solutions. As a Customer Service Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service in our front-end operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining a positive and engaging store environment, fostering a culture of excellence, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
  • Supervise and direct front-end activities, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to company policies.
  • Train and develop team members to achieve departmental productivity levels and maintain a high standard of customer service.
  • Manage the selection, scheduling, and supervision of team members to meet or exceed departmental productivity levels.
  • Handle spoiled/damaged products, maintain a clean and attractive store environment, and follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
  • Proficient computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, and other software applications
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
  • Accounting/Bookkeeping skills and ability to interpret/analyze financials
  • Detail-oriented and ability to delegate/direct/implement tasks
  • Suggestive selling skills and knowledge of products
