About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and people-friendly diagnostic radiologist to join our team at Excel Medical Imaging. Our practice is a small, 4-member private radiology group located in a coastal area of Florida, providing both diagnostic and interventional radiology services to over 300 referring providers.

We are an independent practice, not dependent on hospital contracts, which allows us to maintain a stable income and provide a unique work environment. Our business model is designed to be flexible and adaptable, with a focus on community service and increasing access to general population.

The ideal candidate will have a strong skillset in diagnostic radiology and a desire to continually expand their skills in interventional radiology. Our goal is to be a leader in the radiology market, providing lower-cost and safer outpatient radiology and interventional radiology services.

As a radiologist with Excel Medical Imaging, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on patient care and community service. You will be responsible for reading images, interacting with technologists, and optimizing protocols, as well as participating in physician phone calls and consultations.

We offer a self-directed 'eat-what-you-kill' model with minimal read obligations, allowing you to work independently and manage your own schedule. Our practice is committed to providing a positive and supportive work environment, with a focus on work-life balance and professional growth.
