TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team as a travel CT Technologist. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical professionals to interpret.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Position patients for optimal image capture and ensure patient comfort and safety
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate records of patient images and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography (CT)
- 1+ year of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or imaging center setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
