We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Select and operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for CT scans, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Position patients correctly and use auxiliary equipment as needed to obtain optimal images.
- Document patient information, exam details, and image quality in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to maintain high-quality image production.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.
- ARRT (CT) certification and active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting.
- Ability to lift patients and equipment up to 100 pounds and stand for extended periods.
