Position Overview

As a Tax Consultant, you will leverage your educational background to assist the client service team through tax preparation and research activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect data and utilize tax software to prepare returns for evaluation
  • Guide and mentor entry-level staff
  • Build personal networks and engage in civic, charitable, and professional organizations
Qualifications

Education/Licensing
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited institution is required
  • Active pursuit of CPA certification is necessary
  • Master's Degree in Taxation or Accounting is preferred
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous internship experience in tax or accounting is preferred
  • Capability to prepare basic tax returns
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Client-focused approach
  • Team-oriented with a commitment to growth, a passion for life, and a drive to exceed expectations
