Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled tax professional who recognizes the strategic importance of tax services within the broader business context. This individual will embrace technology to enhance operational efficiency. As a pivotal member of our tax services team, you will provide advisory support and oversight for our tax practice, conduct complex tax return reviews, and engage in tax planning and consulting for private entities in the greater West Michigan region. This role requires staying informed on best practices and legislative changes, sharing knowledge, and mentoring team members.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Active CPA certification.
  • Experience in reviewing individual 1040, S-Corp, and partnership tax returns.
  • At least 10 years of relevant public accounting or tax service experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Proven ability to lead a tax department.
  • Strong time management and project management skills.
  • Preference for a fast-paced, hands-on work environment.
