Job Summary:

RTX is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for performing dimensional and visual inspections on parts, tools, and equipment to ensure they meet quality standards. You will work from written inspection procedures, drawings, and other pertinent instructions to plan and perform inspections, and use a variety of fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results. You will also perform problem-solving to determine the extent of nonconformance and complete documentation and follow proper procedures to perform in-line checks and verification of dimensions.

Responsibilities:

Perform dimensional and visual inspections on parts, tools, and equipment to ensure they meet quality standards.
Work from written inspection procedures, drawings, and other pertinent instructions to plan and perform inspections.
Use a variety of fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results.
Perform problem-solving to determine the extent of nonconformance and complete documentation and follow proper procedures to perform in-line checks and verification of dimensions.

Requirements:

High School Diploma / GED
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program / contract
Previous inspection experience

Work Environment:

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
