Packaging Inspector

As a Packaging Inspector at Jabil, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products. Your primary responsibility will be to manually inspect completed plastics parts and pack them into boxes for shipping. You will also be responsible for sealing boxes, printing labels, and stacking full boxes on pallets. Additionally, you may be required to operate machines and train Inspector/Packer I's. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and pack completed plastics parts into boxes for shipping
- Seal boxes, print labels, and stack full boxes on pallets
- Operate machines as needed
- Train Inspector/Packer I's
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Record data and maintain accurate records
Requirements
- Math skills must be average or better
- Ability to spend long hours walking and standing
- Good color perception and good manual dexterity
- Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs
- Ability to work well with others at all levels
- Able to work in an orderly, logical manner while paying attention to each detail of responsibility
- Communicate verbally and in writing with a good command of the English language
- Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), SAP and e-mail skills preferred
