Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team at MyCareersFuture. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and designing solutions to meet the needs of our cash management business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct business analysis to identify functional requirements and design solutions to meet business needs.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop business cases.
  • Develop and maintain business requirements documents (BRDs) and functional specifications documents (FSDs).
  • Collaborate with technology partners to design and implement solutions.
  • Provide defect triage analysis and work with the quality assurance team to resolve issues.
  • Identify and validate business requirements and ensure that solutions meet business needs.
  • Work with the business users, operations, and developers to ensure that solutions are implemented correctly.
  • Prepare and review test scenarios and test cases.
  • Support the business users for user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that solutions meet business needs.
  • Support the operations team to complete testing and ensure that solutions are implemented correctly.
  • Lead defect management activities and ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Minimum 9 years of experience in business analysis with a focus on banking IT systems and payment systems.
  • Experience in all phases of the IT system development life cycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Good functional knowledge of GPP-SP/GPS/TPH payment platforms and experience in administering these systems.
  • Knowledge of interfaces of payment processing software, including compliance, LV payments, accounting, correspondence banking, fund check, and FX.
  • Hands-on experience with payment systems, including payments hub, clearing and settlement, automated clearing house programs, and channels.
  • Extensive knowledge of various kinds of payment products, including TT, RTGS, LVP (NEFT), immediate payments (IMPS), UPI 2.0, BillDesk, payroll, cheque, DD, cashier order, mass and bulk payments.
  • Expertise in SWIFT interfacing and proficient in user acceptance testing (UAT), functional and system integration testing of banking and financial applications.
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented approach with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with technical teams and strive to deliver solutions in a timely manner.
  • Proactive with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Holding a degree in accounting, finance, or IT.
  • Excellent knowledge of corporate and investment banking and different financial products, including retail banking, wholesale and corporate banking, corporate commercial payments, international and domestic payments, payment hub/factory, ACH, real-time payments, cash and liquidity management, compliance/AML, FX, and messaging (Swift and ISO).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Any certification for business analysts, such as ECBA, CBAP, or PBA.
  • Any experience in a functional lead role.
