Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Business Unit Specialists to elicit and review business requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of the client's needs.
  • Analyze and document to-be business and operations processes, performing impact assessments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Define detailed functional and non-functional requirements based on business needs, working closely with System Analysts to ensure clear and complete understanding.
  • Monitor and manage risks/issues related to requirements and scope creep, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project timelines.
  • Write business functional release notes and contribute to deployment plans, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Transition functional and non-functional requirements to System Analysts, ensuring a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.
  • Work with Test Managers to translate business requirements into test scenarios, ensuring thorough testing and validation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge base related to application features and processes, staying current with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Strong business domain knowledge in banking and preferably in Payments & Cash Management, with a deep understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant banking and/or consulting experience.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, and process design skills, with the ability to translate analysis into solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Understanding of technology and operational processes across functions/departments, with the ability to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively.
  • Resourceful team player with a proactive mindset and behavior, able to thrive in ambiguity and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with change management processes and project management fundamentals, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Strategic forward-thinking approach to challenges, with outstanding communication, influencing, negotiating, and persuasion skills.
  • Passionate, diligent, and resilient individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in scoping and evaluating projects, including scalability, maintainability, cost, operations, and technology principal risk, with the ability to provide recommendations and drive project success.
